Volunteer t-shirt for girls (pink)
Volunteering : First of all , we are now creating a database for volunteers.
Why ? : Few years back me and many of my friends wanted to give help to other people. We can help in many forms , teach , listen , coach and many more. Those days we fail to find a solution. One of the many reasons there are :
1) There were not many volunteer base associations here in KL ( those days, or we are unaware of)
2) We found a few but we feel that the expectations from volunteers exceed the willingness of commitment we want to give.
3) It is not flexible. For example a person might prefer to help people to quit smoking but he might no prefer to give his old things to other people or to participate to clean anything or to recycle.
How we are different ?
1)We welcome EVERYONE to join us : ) . We will create a database of Volunteers , whoever wants to join , drop us and email , saying u want to join and we will reply with a TTDI Volunteer Groups invitation. Make sure you register correctly , its a bit tricky here.
2)We have no expectations , we know we are mere Volunteers. We volunteer when we want to , when we are free when feel like it. We volunteer in events that suit to our preference. We TOTALLY understand this. How we work is we will inform on Volunteers in our database , if you want to participate just reply if not , just dont. easy right? : )
3)We also do cross volunteering , let say UNICEF , MAKNA , Company Cap Ayam wants us to help them with their activities , just drop us an email explaining the event . We will respond to accept or decline. If We accept and provide you with volunteers the catch is you have to reciprocate and provide us with volunteers for our events. This is to get connected to other Volunteer Spirit and get the act of volunteering spread .
Social Activites : barbecue , treasure hunt , ice breaking sessions between
volunteers , outdoor cinema (using projector only , ok whaaaat), night treasure hunt (an expert on this is actually Mr Ashaari Rahmat .
Why we do this ? This is to get to know more people , the more people you interact with the wiser you be because you have to understand about different characters , you have to know more to be able to chat with other people , you have to be more courteous because different level regard different things as rude so you have to know not to do anything that could be regarded as rude and also who wants to be alone.
How do we plan to be different? It is a secret , we dont want to spoil it . ahah!
